This video will forever be one that I cherish. This is our 9 year old son Aaden. He was so excited to be your big brother Mia. He would kiss my belly almost every night and would always tell you he loved you. This is a memory that I hopes he never forgets—holding his baby sister for the first time. He was so innocent and although we did tell him that she didn’t make it, his little mind and heart didn’t comprehend that we meant she was dead. He just looked at her, held her hands, checked at her feet, and made sure he covered her back up because she was cold. He finally got to kiss her little forehead instead of my belly. He would have been such an amazing big brother. He now understands that she will never be with us physically but that she is an angel watching over all of us. He has her pictures next to his bed and some of the flower petals we received in honor of her. He cries with me because he misses you Mia, and he reads you a story some days—“Thank You Mr. Panda” because its his favorite since he loves pandas. Gosh this is the most difficult thing I’ve ever been forced to face. We miss you and love you so much. And as always baby girl, we will always remember you, tell your story, and say your name..ALWAYS.❤️
